Recently, creep in a nickel base 16Cr-10W-4Mo-1.5Al alloy was investigated at temperatures ranging from 973K to 1,173K and applied stresses ranging from 70 MPa to 800 MPa. Following Lagneborg's suggestion, based on extensive experimental data for many precipitation strengthened heat resistant nickel base alloys, the minimum creep rates plotted against applied stress for various temperatures have provided an opportunity to divide the above region of external conditions of stress and temperatures. The aim of the present paper is to reinterpret the creep data, considering continuously curved'' relations between lg[var epsilon]m and lg[sigma].
