The present conference on instrumentation and aerospace-test measurement encompasses special test facilities, electrooptical systems, fiber optics, laser applications, factory automation, wind-tunnel instrumentation, flight tests and avionics, computer applications, measurement uncertainty, and measurements of shocks, flows, pressure, and force. Specific issues addressed include strain analysis using thermographic phosphors, temperature measurements in a vacuum, an electronic pressure-profile display system for aeronautic test facilities, a data-acquisition standard for aerospace, low-frequency RCS measurements with parallel plates, and flow characteristics behind screens. Also addressed are nozzle-exit boundary-layer velocity profiling by hot-wire anemometer, laser systems, flow visualization of transient phenomena in wind tunnels, a modular 64-channel pressure scanner for aerospace tests, an automated pressure-calibration system, and the thermographic imaging of laminates.
