A solar liquid heater is described employing a solar absorber flat plate collector combined in a self-contained unit with an integral liquid storage tank insulated to prevent reversible heat flow and embodying an air flow path over the top of the collector, around the liquid storage tank, across the bottom of the collector and again back across the top of the collector in a closed loop path.
