Alternative formulation of post-form distorted-wave Born approximation theory of nuclear breakup

An alternative formulation of the post form of the distorted wave Born approximation for the breakup of light ions is proposed, which results in well-behaved integrals and eliminates the need for a zero-range approximation for simplification. It also emphasizes the underlying unity of the prevailing theories of breakup in limiting cases.
