Determination of additions of cobalt in single crystals of cesium iodine, activated by thallium

In order to develop a procedure for the determination of cobalt in single crystals of CsI/T1, the authors studied a comparison of methods already established. Preference was given to the photometric method of determining cobalt in aqueous solutions as more simple and accurate. The method was tested on samples of single crystals of CsI/T1 containing no cobalt, by the method of additives and on single crystals of CsI/T1 activated by cobalt. The results of the determination of cobalt in single crystals of cesium iodide activated by thallium are presented in a table.
