Fabrication of YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7/ superconducting ceramics

Recent experience concerning the preparation of YBa/sub 2/Cu/sub 3/O/sub 7/ powder and its fabrication into a variety of shapes is detailed. The fabrication techniques used were dry pressing, tape casting, and extrusion. Parameters found to affect superconductor quality are noted. 3 refs.
