An investigation was made of the selective dissociation of /sup 33/SF/sub 6/ in a natural isotopic mixture in the temperature range 123--293 /sup 0/K. By cooling the gas, it was possible to achieve a degree of separation in the dissociation products q (33/32) approx. =5 for the dissociation of /sup 33/SF/sub 6/ in the optimal temperature range 170--190 /sup 0/K. The measured values of the dissociation parameters indicate that it is quite feasible to develop an efficient /sup 33/S enrichment process yielding weighable amounts.
