Analysis of the decay /ital Z//r arrow//ital e//sup +//mu//sup /minus// in supersymmetric theories

In the context of supersymmetric theories we study the process /ital Z//r arrow//ital e//sup +//mu//sup /minus// and the constraint on its rate arising from the experimental limit on /Gamma/(/mu//r arrow//ital e//gamma/). For all choices of the parameters we find /ital B/(/ital Z//r arrow//ital e//sup +//mu//sup /minus//) much smaller than previously estimated in the literature and far below the detectability limits.
