Hydroisomerization of n-C/sub 5/ and n-C/sub 6/ mixtures was carried out on a Pt-H-mordenite and a Pd-H-faujasite catalyst. A different type of anomalous behavior was observed on each catalyst in the conversion of mixtures relative to the conversion of pure components. Statistical analysis of various Langmuir-Hinshelwood type model for the hydroisomerization rate constant show that this behavior can be related to the adsorption parameters of each system.
