Progress at the Nebraska energy integrated farm

An energy-integrated farm is a farm where one or more renewable energy sources are integrated together or in combination with energy conservation techniques to reduce dependence on conventional sources of energy. The theory of energy integrated farms is covered from the viewpoints of conceptual organization and operational experience. Preliminary data from the University of Nebraska Energy-Integrated Swine Farm is discussed.
