A program designed for the TI-59 calculator can compute the flow factors and the rates of natural gas flowing through flange-tap orifice meters in transmission systems. The program works with or without the TI PC-100 printer, and the operator need not refer to any tables. Given the orifice diameter, meter-run ID, differential and static pressures, specific gravity of the gas, and flowing temperature, the program then calculates the basic-orifice, specific-gravity, flowing-temperature, and supercompressibility factors.
