P-odd asymmetry of fragments in fission of /sup 239/Pu and /sup 235/U by monochromatic polarized neutrons with energies 0. 05--0. 6 eV

P-odd asymmetry coefficients have been measured for the emission of fragments from /sup 239/Pu and /sup 235/U in fission by monochromatic polarized neutrons with energy 0.05--0.6 eV. In fission of /sup 239/Pu a smooth rise of the asymmetry coefficient with energy is observed up to the maximum of the resonance at 0.297 eV and a subsequent drop. In the case of fission of /sup 235/U no statistically significant deviations of the asymmetry coefficient from the average value were observed.
