This paper contains an analytical study of heat transfer to slug flow in rectangular ducts wherein a uniform velocity profile occurs. By solving the energy equation for thermally developed flow, the temperature profile is obtained for the one wall heated case for the H2 thermal boundary condition. Using this solution the temperature profiles for different combinations of heated walls can be obtained by a superposition method. The analytical values of the Nusselt number are reported.
