Transverse and longitudinal beam profile measurement using optical techniques in TRISTAN accumulation ring

Instantaneous beam profile of TRISTAN Accumulation Ring (AR) is measured both transversely and longitudinally using optical devices accepting the synchrotron radiation. They are used to study the bunch lengthening and the vertical instability.
