Antinucleon physics

We review and interpret some of the recent data from LEAR, Brookhaven, and KEK on low and medium energy interactions of antinucleons (N-bar) with nucleons (N). Our emphasis is on elastic and charge exchange scattering, total cross sections, and studies of N-barN annihilation, with particular focus on the emerging evidence for broad resonances and/or bound states of the N-barN system and the selection rules which reveal the quark-gluon dynamics of the annihilation process.
