Black Bank field, Crook County, Wyoming

This report comprises a structure map on top of the Muddy pay sand, a Muddy sand isopach map, and a E.-W. cross section at the producing interval. Certain statistical information is included, along with a table of annual and cumulative production. The field was discovered near the end of 1965 and has produced 314,749 bbl of oil through July 1970, from 4 producing wells. The estimated ultimate primary recovery reserves are 400,000 bbl from a proven productive area of 160 acres. This is a stratigraphic trap oil field in the Cretaceous Muddy Sandstone at an average depth of 3,850 ft. Reservoir net pay thickness is 25 ft.
