Mass-luminosity relations for active galactic nuclei

The catalog of parameters of active nuclei of galaxies made by E.A. Dibai has been used to consider the luminosity of active nuclei in different spectral ranges as a function of the mass of the nuclei. It is shown that for the nuclei of type 1 Seyfert galaxies and close quasars the dependence of the bolometric luminosity on the mass (L/sub bol//approximately/ m/sup 4/3/) satisfies Hills's model.
