/sup 12/C(. gamma. ,. pi. /sup -/)/sup 12/N/sub g. s. / from threshold to resonance

We calculate both total and differential cross-sections for the reaction /sup 12/C(..gamma..,..pi../sup -/)/sup 12/N/sub g.s./ for pion laboratory kinetic energies ranging from 0--180 MeV. We pay particular attention to the role of non-static terms in the photoproduction operator.
