Modelling QCD with the soliton bag

Journal Article · · AIP Conf. Proc.; (United States)
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1063/1.34354· OSTI ID:5936718

The parameters of the soliton bag model have been adjusted to model key features of QCD, lattice gauge theory calculations and experiment. The fit to LGT calculations is qualitative, but there are uncertainties in the accuracy of those calculations. The soliton model has been and is being used as a framework to calculate hadronic spectra and properties, dynamical properties including nucleon-nucleon scattering, the pion cloud and PCAC, and the transition from nucleonic matter to the quark gluon plasma.
