Application to mixtures of the Peng-Robinson equation of state with fluid-specific parameters

The vapor-liquid equilibria and volumetric behavior of mixtures have been calculated by using the Peng-Robinson equation of state with fluid-specific temperature-dependent parameters proposed earlier. Illustrative calculations show that this modification of the Peng-Robinson equation of state results in a great improvement in the simultaneous correlation of phase compositions and phase densities and excellent predictions of molar volumes in the one-phase region.
