The last achievements in technology of fine filament superconducting materials opened the way for creating of superconducting devices working at AC mode. Investigation of the current carrying capacity and stability of superconductors at AC mode is one of the most important problems. The measurements of quench currents of sample coils at frequencies from 0 to 1000 Hz in the external magnetic field are presented in this paper. Coils were wound by multifilamentary Nb-Ti wires with various diameters in pure high resistive matrix with different resistivity. The influence of cooling on quench in AC-mode was studied too. Stability of wire increased with improving of cooling and increasing of magnetic field.
