Program summaries for 1982: environmental programs

The research activities making up the Environmental Programs of the Department of Energy and Environment have been described. They have been organized according to the four units comprising the Environmental area: the Atmospheric Sciences Division, the Environmental Chemistry Division, the Oceanographic Sciences Division, and the Terrestrial and Aquatic Ecology Division. For each program, the Principal Investigator, research objectives, and funding levels for FY 1982 and FY 1983 are given. Some of the more significant accomplishments during 1982 are described and publications for the period are listed. Plans for 1983 are discussed briefly.
