Strangeness production with antiprotons

New data from LEAR on the production of hyperon-antihyperon pairs in strong interactions is reported. The possibility of checking CP invariances in the Lambda-bar..lambda.. system is reviewed together with plans to search for the zeta(2230) in the p+p-bar..-->..K/sub s/+K-bar/sub s/ reaction.
