This summary of the Advanced Water Breeder Applications (AWBA) Project work briefly describes four breeder reactor concepts which utilize the thorium/uranium-233 fuel cycle. Supporting analysis, component development, fuel fabrication development, and ex-reactor and irradiation testing results are highlighted. Extensive references are given to AWBA Development Reports available in the open literature.
