This report summarizes the contribution of the Los Alamos National Laboratory to the Nevada Nuclear Waste Storage Investigations for the third quarter of FY-1981. Progress reports on the following tasks are presented: waste package development; nuclide migration experiments in G tunnel-laboratory studies; geochemistry of tuff; mineralogy-petrology of tuff; volcanic hazard investigations; site evaluation; rock physics studies; exploratory shaft design; and quality assurance.
