This paper reports discusses technical economics is an emerging subject different from such areas as engineering management. The subject of engineering economics will be vital in the coming years as the world economy is about to undergo an economic explosion due to the effect of the computer on every area of technology and the simultaneous large expansion of the world market through the opening and democratization of the Communist block together with the European Common Market.
