Cement liners successfully through gas, thief zones

High pressure gas formations or lost circulation zones are two occurrences that frequently make it difficult to properly cement liners. However, with proper planning, use of special cements and the application of squeeze techniques, liners can be set through either with success. The article discusses these problems and gives actual case histories of how they were overcome.
