An estimate of the /ital A//r arrow//ital d/+(/ital A//minus/ 2) nuclear vertex constants

Experimental data on the /sup 4/He(..gamma..,/ital pn/)/sup 2/H and /sup 12/C(..gamma..,/ital pn/)/sup 10/B reactions at intermediate energies are used on the assumption of the quasideuteron reaction mechanism, Butler form factors, and a parametrization of the deuteron photodisintegration cross sections off the mass shell to estimate the nuclear vertex constants for the /sup 4/He/r arrow//ital d/+/ital d//minus/, /sup 12/C/r arrow//ital d/+/sup 10/B/minus/, and /sup 12/C/r arrow//ital d/+/sup 10/B* reactions with /ital l/=/ital s/=0 and 2, 2, 0 and 2, respectively, where /ital s/ and /ital l/ are the spin and relative orbital angular momentum of the (/ital d/, /ital A//minus/2) system.
