The kinetics of hydrogenation of nitrobenzene and its derivatives on a skeletal nickel catalysts was studied with parallel observation of fluctuations of the potential of the catalyst during hydrogenation. It was found that the dependence of the logarithm of the hydrogenation rate constants of nitrobenzenes on the intensity of fluctuations of the catalyst potential is nonlinear.
