Trace element speciation in surface waters and its ecological implications

This book is the proceedings of a NATO Advanced Research Workshop held in Nervi (Genoa), Italy from 2-4 November, 1981. Three themes form the main sections of the book: analytical approaches to the problem of trace metal speciation; trace element species and general aspects of their interactions with aquatic life; and new perspectives and future actions. In addition, the workshop recommended research areas of high promise. Attention was given mainly to trace metals.
