Conformal anomaly in a convariantly quantized heterotic Green-Schwarz superstring

The covariant quantization of the heterotic Green-Schwarz superstring action has been considered recently by Romans. The authors show that their BRST gauge fixed action has a conformal anomaly. They also give a brief review of the Minkowski space formulation of the operator product expansions.
