Louisiana Supplemental Energy Conservation Plan. Second year supplemental plan

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5881312
A State Energy Conservation Plan for Louisiana prepared to meet DOE guidelines for participation in the energy conservation legislation under U.S. Public Law 94-163 is presented. Some data forms, budgetary information, and regulatory and legal information are first presented. Following an overview of the Louisiana plan, information covered includes the proposed Louisiana energy conservation goal; environmental residuals statement; management plan; plan summary; and description of the program measures. Program measures discussed are: building energy audits (evaluation of state buildings); education and public awareness; intergovernmental coordination; and state supervision, implementation, and contract administration. The estimated reduction in environmental residuals that will result from implementation of the Louisiana Energy Conservation Plan is based on changes in energy use by primary fuel type. Total estimated energy savings are 220.98 trillion Btu's. This amount has been prorated to fuel types according to the mix of fuels used in the sector in which energy savings will occur. A summary of this distribution is presented in an appendix.
