Part IV, Environmental Impacts of Energy Development, contains three chapters: Impact of the Federal Surface Mining Act on Texas Lignite and Uranium Mining; Impact of Prevention of Significant Deterioration Requirements Upon Texas Energy Development; and The Offset Policy in Nonattainment Areas: Implications for Texas.
