Report to Congress on implementation of section 112 of the Clean Air Act amendments of 1990. Final report
The document is a status report, covering the period from November 15, 1990 to August 1993, on the measures taken by the EPA and the States to implement the provisions of Section 112 of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. The report is the first report to Congress required by Section 112(s) and will be submitted every 3 years. As required by Section 112(s), the document includes a summary of standards-setting activities under sections 112(d) and (f), information with respect to costs and compliance with such standards, and discussions of the national urban air toxics program and the accidental release program. Future reports will include information from a database on pollutants and sources subject to the provisions of section 112, as well as recommendations of the Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board with respect to the prevention and mitigation of accidental releases.
