Minerals yearbook, 1991: Maryland. Annual report

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5879563
The report has been prepared under a Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Bureau of Mines, U.S. Department of the Interior, and the Maryland Geological Survey for collecting information on all nonfuel minerals. The value of nonfuel mineral production in Maryland in 1991 was about $348 million. Production dropped for all the nonfuel minerals produced in the State. Maryland's value of output decreased by only $20 million primarily because of a significant increase in the price of crushed stone.
