The cluster aspects of nuclear synthesis studied are restricted to only those charged-particle reactions of major importance to nuclear astrophysics, where cluster aspects play a dominant role. The experimental procedures and problems, helium burning as shown in various reactions, and heavy ion burning are treated. 19 references. (JFP)
