Integration of transversal Newman-Penrose equations for electrovacuum spaces of General Relativity, corresponding to strong gravitational waves in semi-closed universes of the Bertotti-Robison type, is considered. The space-time metric belonging to the degenerated type II according to Petrov's classification, is explicitly given, and some of its properties are discussed.
