Photodetachment spectra of H/sup /minus// in parallel electric and magnetic fields

Simple analytic formulas are presented for the photodetachment cross section of H/sup /minus// in the presence of parallel electric and magnetic fields. A rich array of photodetachment spectra are displayed that illustrate the strong dependence of the cross section on the polarization of the photons and on the electric and magnetic fields.
