Slate Creek: a natural water feature project

On May 10, 1984, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals disallowed FERC rules governing natural water feature exemptions. However, since it was under construction at the time of the decision, the Slate Creek project was allowed to proceed. The design and construction considerations associated with a natural water feature project are discussed.
