Statistical failure analysis of military systems for high-altitude EMP
Conference

OSTI ID:5869165
A probabilistic approach to vulnerability assessment that allows inclusion of uncertainties into the analysis is outlined and discussed. The approach is illustrated and validated to a limited extent by two simple system experiments that included device failure data, circuit analyses, failure analyses, and separate laboratory system tests with a transient electromagnetic facility. The computer programs NET-2 and FAST were essential tools in the analyses.
