Semiclassical calculation of two-photon rates

Two-photon absorption and emission processes make small contributions to the radiative rates in a hot plasma. In this paper these rates are calculated as a test of a new semiclassical method. The results agree closely with quantum calculations. 9 refs., 1 fig., 2 tabs.
