Suppression of induced pseudoscalar form factor due to radiative and ordinary captures of a muon by nuclei

The induced pseudoscalar form factor in nuclear matter is shown to be suppressed appreciably compared with the void value. This can occur in experiments on radiative ..mu.. capture by intermediate and heavy nuclei.
