The complete {ital O}({alpha}{sub {ital s}}) QCD corrections to the decay process {ital H}{sup {minus}}{r arrow}{ital {bar u}}{sub {ital i}d{ital j}} of a charged Higgs boson are calculated for an arbitrary up-type quark mass while treating the down-type quark as massless. In the leading-logarithmic approximation, the QCD corrections to the decay rates can be conveniently expressed in terms of the running masses. The corrections decrease the charged-Higgs-boson decay width, as in the case of the standard-theory neutral-Higgs-boson decay.
