On the basis of data of the SNEG-2MZ Soviet-French experiment on the Venera-11 and 12 spacecraft it was established that the continuum of cosmic gamma-ray bursts varies over a characteristic time of < or approx. =250 msec; the annihilation radiation is generated in strong short pulses. The spectral data obtained permit us to draw important conclusions about the nature of the sources of gamma-ray bursts.
