The document represents one integrated plan for the Huron-Manistee National Forests, which will guide all natural resource management activities. The purpose of the Forests' Plan is to provide direction for multiple use management and the sustained yield of goods and services from National Forest System lands in an environmentally sound manner. The Forests' Plan covers management actions for the next 10-year period. The Plan will be revised at that time or earlier if the Forest Supervisor determines that planning area conditions have changed significantly.
