AEERL (Air and Energy Engineering Research Laboratory) research plan on the global climate emissions assessment and stabilization program

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5859142
The paper discusses the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Air and Energy Engineering Research Laboratory (AEERL) research plan for work in the global climate area. The plan, written for discussion with senior scientists and program managers at EPA's Global Climate Change Research Workshop in September 1987, consists of five major parts: emission inventory, emission factor development, emission forecast model, control technology assessment, and control technology development. Plans for work in each of these areas and the relationship of AEERL's work to that being done by other researchers are discussed in the research plan. Projected budgets and schedules are presented.
