Two-dimensional (4,0) supersymmetric gauge multiplet and its action in harmonic superspace

The two-dimensional (4,0) supersymmetric gauge theory and the interaction terms between gauge and matter multiplets are constructed in harmonic superspace. Functional techniques for the quantization of such theories are discussed.
