In this paper the chemistry involved in cloud processes is modeled. Complementary field experiments were conducted during the Summers of 1983 and 1984 in and around Lexington, KY. The field experiments used a combination of aircraft and ground-based sampling. During the flights SO/sub 2/, NO/sub 3/,NO/sub x/, O/sub 3/, and particulate concentrations were measured. A.J. Alkezweeny et al. reported the first-order constant for conversion of SO/sub 2/ to SO/sup =//sub 4/ from the experimental results reported in that study.
