Three ternary systems, methane-ethane-n-octane, methane-ethane-benzene, and methane-ethane-cyclohexane, are investigated along their three-phase S-L-V loci. The dramatic solubility enhancement of these solid hydrocarbons in liquid methane due to the presence of ethane is documented and presented graphically for a wide range of ethane concentration levels. Pressure, temperature, liquid-phase molar volume, and liquid-phase composition are tabulated in raw data form. 3 figures, 3 tables.
