Configuration of the combustion region in the H/sub 2/-F/sub 2/ system

The purpose of this work was to elucidate the dependence of the combustion region configuration on the Arrhenius parameters of the elementary reaction steps, using as example the hydrogen-fluorine reaction. The mechanism of the latter includes the formation of vibrationally excited HF and H/sub 2/ molecules and energy branching via the H/sub 2/-F/sub 2/ reaction.
